Important Note on Coverage: Our services are provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW) practicing therapy. Because coverage varies by plan, we highly recommend calling your insurance provider before your first appointment.

Yes, I do! I believe therapy should be accessible, and I currently have a few openings available for sliding scale sessions.
If you would like to discuss sliding scale options, please include a brief note when you complete your consultation booking, session booking, or when using the contact form below. I will be happy to chat with you about how we can make this work.
⚠️ Please Note: Sliding scale spots are limited and based on current availability, so they cannot be guaranteed for everyone.
Standard fees for a 50-minute session are:

Individual Session: $160

Couples Session: $200

Two Rivers Therapy requires at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or modifications to your appointment time.

Late Cancellations: If you cancel within the 24-hour window, it is considered a late cancellation, and the standard session fee will be charged to the credit card required on file.

Insurance Note: Please be aware that insurance providers do not reimburse or provide coverage for late cancellations or missed appointments.
I understand that life happens and unexpected emergencies come up. Exceptions to this policy for sudden illness or emergencies are determined on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out as soon as you can if you need to modify your appointment.
Two Rivers Therapy offers both in-person and virtual (online) sessions:

In-Person: Held at our main office location in Calgary.

Virtual Therapy: Available to residents living anywhere across Alberta, Ontario, and Nova Scotia via a secure, confidential video platform.
Please note: Phone sessions are not available.
Our 15-minute consultation is an informal, no-pressure chat to see if the way I work fits you and your specific needs.
I usually start by asking, "What prompted you to book this consultation?" and you are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. There is no right or wrong answer, and no obligation to book a session afterward.
In our first session, we will take our time reviewing confidentiality, exploring your goals, and discussing some of your history.
We will go entirely at your pace. It is completely okay if you don't know where to start, and it is okay to "jump around" from topic to topic. I am here to guide you through this process, and we will only go where you feel ready to go.
